Air Quality Sensor Training Workshop for U.S. EPA
Clients
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
As an industry leader in air quality monitoring, Sonoma Technology helps clients build institutional knowledge and capacity through tailored training events. Sonoma Technology scientists developed a three-day training course for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) staff so they could help Tribal agency staff understand and take advantage of the new generation of low-cost sensor technology. EPA conducted the training in Las Vegas, Nevada, in November 2019.<br>
The training material, which included hands-on and interactive assignments, discussed the growth in the sensor market, selecting sensors that are “fit for purpose,” managing and processing sensor data, quality assurance and control, study design, data analysis methods and tools, and reporting data.
