Development and Enhancement of the Clean Air Partners Air Quality Website

Sonoma Technology designed, developed, and operates the <a href="http://www.cleanairpartners.net/" target="_blank">Clean Air Partners website</a href>. Using an iterative design process, Sonoma Technology worked closely with MWCOG to create the website’s design, appearance, and flow. Sonoma Technology developed and implemented a dynamic air quality forecast display showing current air quality conditions. Sonoma Technology also developed current and historical data display screens and content management functionality. An email notification system (Air Alert) was created to send automated forecasts and real-time data emails by user-selected region and AQI threshold, as well as manual health advisory emails.

Sonoma Technology also developed the companion Clean Air Partners app, which allows residents living in the Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore region to get daily air quality forecasts, current air quality information, and alerts when the air quality is poor. The app is available for the <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sti.cleanairpartners2&hl=en" target="_blank">Android</a href> and <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/clean-air-partners-air-quality/id591506505?mt=8" target="_blank">iOS</a href> platforms.
