Air Quality Forecasting and Outreach Support for Columbus, Ohio
Clients
Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC)
Since 2001, Sonoma Technology has worked with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), an association of governments in central Ohio, to forecast and communicate air quality conditions to the public. Our experienced team of meteorologists issue daily air quality forecasts for ozone and PM2.5 and our software engineers designed and operate an <a href="http://airquality.morpc1.org/" target="_blank">air quality website</a href> in support of MORPC’s air quality forecasting and outreach program. We disseminate actionable air quality information to MORPC and residents of central Ohio via monthly and seasonal air quality flyers; daily forecasts and alerts via email, text messaging, RSS feeds, and Twitter; and the MORPC air quality website.
