Characterizing Boundary Layer Meteorological Conditions in Houston
Clients
University of Texas at Austin
Sonoma Technology analyzed and characterized boundary layer meteorological conditions in the Houston, Texas, area during an air quality field study performed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). During the field study, seven radar wind profilers (RWPs) collected boundary layer data in the Houston area; Sonoma Technology handed the operation and data collection of four of the RWPs, analyzed and delivered continuous mixing height data, and characterized the hourly and daily boundary layer meteorological conditions to provide insight into the processes that influence air quality in Houston.
