Anondo joined Sonoma Technology’s Data Science Department in 2016. He has experience leveraging a wide range of resources to examine air quality, including surface monitors, satellite data products, and air quality models. He has expertise in the analysis of sensor measurements. Anondo applies his skills to better examine the causes and properties of air pollution in a range of contexts, including near-road and urban environments.

Anondo completed his PhD program in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Department at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he conducted research on the impact of aerosols on regional radiative balance and cloud microphysics evolution. He is a former Air Quality Fellow for the U.S. State Department–U.S. EPA Global Air Quality Fellowship program. In his free time, Anondo enjoys hiking, yoga, reading and traveling.
