Meteorological Modeling and Wildfire Analysis for Litigation Support
Sonoma Technology evaluated the meteorological conditions that impacted the evolution of a wildfire believed to have been caused by human negligence. As part of this analysis, Sonoma Technology performed meteorological modeling with the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model at a variety of spatial scales, including fine-scale modeling at a 500-meter resolution for the hours immediately preceding and following the start of the fire.
