Dianne, with STI since 2001, designs and maintains MS Access, SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL database systems and related software for specific technical applications. She is also a scientific technical resource/project manager for software development. Dianne enjoys conducting training workshops on basic meteorology and air quality forecasting; developing objective forecasting tools; and providing high quality ozone and particulate matter forecasts for regions across the United States. She shares her love of weather with students at Santa Rosa Junior College, where she serves as an adjunct instructor of meteorology.
In her spare time, Dianne enjoys figure skating, skiing, and playing flute in a local community band. She is a member of the American Meteorological Society. She earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, respectively.
