Litigation Support
STI provides technical and expert testimony support for environmental litigation cases. Our team of scientists and engineers has not only a comprehensive understanding of scientific issues, but also the ability to communicate complex technical information in a way that is credible and understandable to non-technical audiences. Our litigation support experience covers a wide variety of environmental issues, including oil and gas operations, mobile source emissions, fugitive dust from open material piles, and individual stationary sources (e.g., electric utilities and industrial boilers). We have worked successfully with both industrial clients and regulatory agencies and we are known for our objectivity, knowledge, and attention to detail. In addition, our extensive work with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Justice, and other government agencies engenders a high level of trust in our analyses and allows us to help private sector clients understand and negotiate the regulatory environment.
Our litigation support services include
